Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder (Curcuma longa, available in health food stores)
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 400 ml almond milk
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (to improve the absorption of turmeric in your body)
- Optional: honey or stevia to sweeten
Instructions
1. Heat the almond milk over medium heat until it’s almost boiling.
2. Add the turmeric, ginger powder, cinnamon, and black pepper.
3. Stir continuously with a whisk to prevent lumps, and be careful as the mixture may start to foam.
4. If you’d like a sweeter latte, add honey or stevia to taste.
5. Serve warm and enjoy your healthy turmeric latte!
